Sun TV PAT up 5% in Q3 FY24

SunTV Network recently announced its quarterly financials for the period ended December 31, 2023.

The total income for the aforementioned period was up by 6.63 percent at Rs 1,014.8 crore as against Rs 951.7 crore for the corresponding quarter of last year. The revenues were up 3.26 percent at Rs 885.4 crore as against Rs. 857.5 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2022.

The Profit Before Tax (PBT) went up by 6.18 percent at Rs 591.31 crore for the current quarter as against Rs 556.9 crore during the previous year’s same quarter and the Profit After Tax (PAT) for the quarter ended December 31, 2023, was up by 5.05 percent to Rs 437.34 crore.

The Board of Directors of Kal Radio Limited (KRL), approved a proposed scheme of amalgamation of Udaya FM Private Limited with KRL in January 2024. Similarly, the Board of Directors of South Asia FM Limited (SAFL) and its Joint Ventures or Associate Companies at their respective meetings approved a proposed composite scheme of arrangement for amalgamation involving these Joint Venture or Associate Companies and SAFL.
