The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) will commence a three-day lecture series from today (August 26), to mark its centenary celebrations. The event will take place at Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi. The theme of the series, ‘100 Years of Sangh Journey – New Horizons’, will focus on the organisation's 100-year journey, its role in society, and future prospects.
Over the course of the event, various aspects of the RSS’s formation, growth, and contributions to society will be discussed in detail.
On the first day, RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat is scheduled to present his views on multiple topics. Discussions during the event will include the RSS’s work in social service, education, environmental protection and nation-building.
Additionally, the series will address contemporary issues such as women’s participation and technological innovation.
