P&G Hygiene and Health Care sees 25% increase in YoY ad spends for Q2

Consumer products giant P&G India has reported a 25% hike in its advertising and promotional expenses year-on-year for the quarter ended December 31. The spends rose from Rs 126.6 crore to Rs 158.3 crore.

However, there is an 8.5% decline in its QoQ ad spends from September 2024.

The company’s YoY net profit rose 18% to Rs 365 crore.

Procter & Gamble Hygiene and Health Care Ltd. announced its financial results for the quarter ended December 31, 2024. In a challenging operating environment, the company delivered a balanced growth in the quarter, with sales of Rs 1248 crore, up 10% versus year ago driven by a robust portfolio, consumer-delighting innovation and superior retail execution. Profit After Tax (PAT) for the quarter was Rs 269 crore, up 17% versus year ago led by strong topline growth.
