LIC Housing Finance is celebrating its 36th Foundation Day with the launch of a new brand campaign that beautifully captures the joy of homeownership. The campaign pays tribute to the deep emotional bond Indians share with their homes.
Titled “Apna Ghar... toh apna hi hota hai”, the brand film is a montage of authentic Indian homes and the everyday moments that make them special, from birthday celebrations to colourful walls filled with memories. The narrative emphasizes how a house becomes a home when it reflects your identity, freedom, and joy.
The ad film features four distinct montages showcasing everyday moments that reflect the joy of owning a home: a Marathi family in Mumbai celebrating a birthday and peeling balloons off the wall; children in a Chandigarh home scribbling on walls while their father affectionately watches; a South Indian woman confidently hammering a nail to hang a photo frame; and a Bengali couple playfully painting their walls with vibrant colours. Each scene highlights the freedom, comfort, and emotional connection people share with their own homes.
Speaking on the occasion, Tribhuwan Adhikari, MD & CEO of LIC Housing Finance Limited, said "For 36 years, LIC HFL has been a trusted partner of homeownership in India. Our Foundation Day is not only a celebration of our legacy but also a reaffirmation of our commitment to empowering every segment of society. The latest campaign is a celebration of that trust and of the everyday happiness a home brings."
As part of the social media campaign, one of the standout digital initiatives will be the Digital Name Plate Generator, an interactive concept designed to give users a personalised experience of seeing their own name on a door, evoking the emotional fulfilment and pride of owning a home.
