Charles Dolan, Founder of HBO and Cablevision, is no more. He was 98.

As per news reports, Dolan passed away on December 28.

Charles Dolan started Home Box Office (HBO) in 1972 and a year later launched Cablevisions Systems Corp.

Dolan is credited for transforming the TV industry.

He also introduced American Movie Classics (AMC) Network in 1984 and a 24-hour local news channel, News 12, in the US.
