Alia Bhatt turns 31: Rani's rocking brand journey

Top Bollywood actress, entrepreneur, investor, mother and brand ambassador of multiple brands, including that of a big global name in luxury, Alia Bhatt is truly a wearer of many hats. The Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani actor is celebrating her 31st birthday today. She is the only female actor in India whose two female-centric films, Raazi and Gangubai Kathiawadi entered the 100-crore club.

In 2023, Alia Bhatt was roped in by Gucci as their global brand ambassador. This partnership was largely applauded, considering Gucci is the world’s fifth-most valuable luxury clothing brand, with a $15.6 billion valuation, sending Bhatt’s brand value to skyrocket by 51% up past the $100 million mark.

Reportedly, Bhatt is the fourth highest-paid Indian actress, with a per-movie fee ranging between Rs.20 crore and 25 crore.

Bhatt is also the founder of Ed-a-mamma, a sustainable clothing line for children and pregnant women, which is valued at approximately Rs 150 crore. In mid-2023, Reliance Retail Ventures Ltd. (RRVL) signed a joint venture agreement to acquire a 51% stake in Bhatt’s company. Bhatt is also an investor in brands like Nykaa and StyleCracker.

Apart from leading her own brand, she has been associated with various brands like Cadbury, Make My Trip, Blenders Pride, Lay’s, Caprese, Manyavar, Cornetto, Titan Raga, Phonepe, Phillips and many more as their ambassador.
