Britannia Appoints Rakshit Hargave as New CEO

Britannia Industries has named Rakshit Hargave as its new Chief Executive Officer and additional Whole-time Director, according to a filing with the BSE. His five-year tenure will commence on December 15, 2025, pending shareholder approval.

Previously, Hargave served as the CEO of Birla Opus, the paint venture under the Aditya Birla Group. He has stepped down from the position and will officially leave the company on December 5.

Hargave, who joined Birla Opus in November 2021, has also held key roles at Hindustan Unilever, Kimberly-Clark Lever, Lakme Lever, and Jubilant FoodWorks.
