Music Broadcast Ltd., the operator of Radio City, today announced its financial results for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2025. While the company posted a modest 3% year-on-year (YoY) increase in revenue, profitability was significantly impacted by a non-cash impairment charge and elevated operating expenses.
Key Financial Highlights (FY25 vs FY24):
Revenue stood at Rs 234.5 crore, up from Rs 228.5 crore in FY24.
Total Income came in at Rs 261.3 crore, marginally down from Rs 271.6 crore YoY.
Operating EBITDA declined 30% YoY to Rs 39.4 crore.
EBIT dropped sharply to Rs 4.9 crore from Rs 22.8 crore in the previous year.

PAT Margin deteriorated to -10.8% from 6.4% last year.
The fourth quarter (Q4FY25) performance was particularly weak, with revenue down 13% YoY and 16% quarteron-quarter (QoQ), at Rs 54.7 crore. The company reported an operating loss (EBIT) of Rs 12.1 crore and a total comprehensive loss of Rs 38.1 crore for the quarter.
A key factor behind the steep loss in Q4 and the full fiscal year was a one-time impairment charge of Rs 34.9 crore related to the carrying value of non-financial assets including Property, Plant, Equipment, and Intangible Assets.
This adjustment was made following a revaluation of the business, in line with accounting standards. Vijay Tandon resigned from the position of Chairman and Non-Executive Independent Director of the Company, with effect from close of business hours on May 19, 2025, due to health reasons. Consequent to his resignation from the Board, he shall also cease to be the Chairperson of the Audit Committee, Risk Management Committee and Member of Nomination & Remuneration Committee of the Company, with effect from close of business hours on May 19, 2025.
