DTL has announced the 100% acquisition of Ushta Te (Talent Management & Outsourced Services Partner for Global GCCS) through a strategic Merger and Acquisition deal. Ushta Te has been founded by media entrepreneur Malcolm Mistry.

Malcolm Mistry is the founder and Director of Ushta Te Consultancy Services LLP, a Mumbai-based firm specializing in recruitment, outsourced solutions, and content services. With over three decades of experience,
Mistry has held senior leadership roles in India's top media houses and has successfully transitioned into entrepreneurship, building a firm that partners with global technology and media giants.
In 2012, Mistry co-founded Ushta Te, which translates to “happiness unto you” in Avestan. The firm began by offering recruitment solutions across sectors like media, advertising, and luxury. Over time, it expanded into outsourced services, including AI/ML language support, technical writing and contingent workforce solutions for global clients. Under his leadership, Ushta Te was recognized among the 20 Most Valuable Consulting Companies in India in 2022 and as a Top 25 Most Admired HR Company by The CEO Magazine in 2019.
Mistry served as CEO of DNA, the English daily from the Zee Media Group, where he was responsible for editorial direction, business strategy, and operational growth. His appointment was seen as a strategic move to revitalize the publication's market position.
