Swati Bhattacharya has stepped down as Chief Creative Officer at FCB India. Sources have confirmed the development with e4m.

Although FCB Ulka denied the news, sources have told e4m that the agency is trying to retain her. Her last day at the organisation has not been confirmed yet but as per sources there will be clarity by the end of February.

With over 25 years of experience in advertising, Bhattacharya was the first woman CCO in India when she was promoted to the position back in 2016.

Under her leadership, FCB India has won more than 160 awards, including several metals at Cannes Lions.

Her next move is not known yet.
