Sushma Rajesh has joined Viacom18 Media as the Cluster Head for Kannada and Marathi. She posted about the development on LinkedIn. Prior to this, Sushma was SVP & Business Head- Kannada at The Walt Disney Company for over 2 years.

“I am excited to share that I have embarked on a new chapter in my professional life as the Cluster Head for Kannada and Marathi at Viacom18 Media Private Limited”, her LinkedIn post read.

“Bidding adieu to someplace one has spent 2 decades in is not easy, but I am looking forward to this new phase and making some new memories. Thank you Disney Star for an incredible ride. The people I met who have played an immense role in shaping my career and the milestones we achieved shall forever remain special”, she added in her post.

Previously, she has worked in leadership roles at Star India since 2004 where she handled Star Plus, Star Pravah, Star Jalsha and Star Utsav. She began her career as a Senior Manager (Research & Strategic Planning) in 2004 and over the years became the Vice President of Marketing & Channel Strategy at Life OK in 2014. Before this, she worked as a Research Executive for IMRB International, a division of the Kantar Group.
