Samsung India has initiated a comprehensive review of its media agency mandate, e4m has independently confirmed. The account, estimated to be worth nearly Rs 300 crore, is currently handled by Lodestar.
The mandate spans media planning and buying across Samsung’s entire product portfolio. While Lodestar manages traditional media responsibilities including television, print, and outdoor, overall retail duties are handled by Cheil SWA. In August last year, Cheil India also rolled out a new campaign for the Samsung Galaxy F36 5G.
Meanwhile, Samsung India Electronics has stepped up its advertising investments, increasing ad spends by 15.6% in FY25. The company spent Rs 4,370.7 crore on advertising and promotions during the year, up from Rs 3,781.6 crore in FY24, according to its consolidated financial statements.
Financially, Samsung India reported a 10.3% year-on-year rise in revenue from operations, which reached Rs 1,11,183.4 crore in FY25 compared to Rs 1,00,809.8 crore in the previous fiscal. Total income for the year grew 11.3% to Rs 1,14,217 crore.
