Chandan Kumar has joined News24 in the role of Chief Revenue Officer, a development he has confirmed to Pitch.
Based out of Noida, Kumar will spearhead the network’s revenue expansion efforts, with a key emphasis on scaling digital revenues and driving integrated monetisation strategies.
Before this appointment, Kumar was Vice President – Digital Monetisation at Zee Media, a position he took on in April 2024. Over his stint at the network, he held several senior roles within the digital monetisation function, including Deputy Vice President for the North and East region, AVP – Digital Monetisation, and Regional Head.
During his time at Zee, Kumar worked across a wide range of the group’s digital properties, covering news, business, entertainment, and lifestyle segments. His responsibilities spanned advertising strategy, agency and advertiser relationships, and sales leadership across programmatic and direct inventory, OTT and CTV platforms, equipping him with deep experience in emerging digital revenue ecosystems.
