Mrinalini Ghadiok appointed as Head of Editorial Content at Architectural Digest India

Condé Nast has announced the appointment of Mrinalini Ghadiok as Head of Editorial Content, Architectural Digest India, effective January 12, 2026. Based in Mumbai, Ghadiok will lead the brand’s editorial vision and oversee content strategy across all platforms in the Indian market.

Commenting on the appointment, Amy Astley, Global Editorial Director, Architectural Digest, said, “Mrinalini brings a powerful blend of architectural insight and editorial creativity to AD. With her nuanced understanding of the Indian design landscape and a global outlook, she has earned deep respect within the design community. An architect, design writer, editor and cultural innovator, Ghadiok brings over two decades of experience across architecture, publishing and public discourse. Earlier in her career, she served as editor of mondoarc India and STIR, where she helped shape a rigorous and distinctive editorial voice.

In recent years, Ghadiok has worked independently with leading architecture and design practices, institutions and brands, developing studio and project monographs, shaping communication strategies, and curating public programmes and conversations that situate design within a broader cultural context. She has also taught architecture at the university level, served on design juries in India and internationally, and continues to engage actively with emerging voices in the field.
