Jacob Mathew Elevated to Network Coordinating Editor at TV9

Jacob Mathew has been promoted to the position of Network Coordinating Editor at Associated Broadcasting Co. Pvt. Ltd (TV9), sources told exchange4media. The elevation marks a new leadership chapter for the senior journalist, who brings over three decades of experience across national and international news platforms.

Mathew has worked with several prominent media organisations during his career, including Dunia Vision (French TV), ANI–Reuters, CNN, India TV, News24, and the TV9 News Network, building a reputation for strong editorial leadership and in-depth newsroom management. Alongside his professional assignments, he also serves as an elected Director on the Board of the New Delhi YMCA, a role he will continue to hold until 2027.

He joined TV9 Digital in October 2022 as Coordinating Editor, where he was instrumental in strengthening editorial operations and content strategy. Prior to this, Mathew served as Vice President at News24 (BAG Network), overseeing key editorial initiatives.In his new role as Network Coordinating Editor, Mathew is expected to play a crucial part in aligning editorial direction and operational coordination across the TV9 network’s expanding news portfolio.
