Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) has reportedly appointed Vikas Kaushal as the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) for a five-year term.
Kaushal is the first private sector executive to head a state-run oil refinery. Before this, he was with Kearney. He has more than three decades of experience spanning oil and gas, power, and renewables.
Vikas Kaushal is a chemical engineering graduate from Punjab University and an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad. He was twice elected to Kearney’s Global Board of Directors and also served as Managing Director and Country Head for Kearney India for five years.
