The Trade Desk has appointed Rahul Kapoor as Vice President-Partnerships.

Rahul Kapoor joins after a nearly 15-year stint at Google India. He was Director Partnerships Solution at the tech major for the last 5 years.

In a social media post announcing his move, Kapoor said: "After more than 25 years in media, ad tech, and strategic alliances, I’m excited to bring all those experiences into a role that’s focused on shaping the future of programmatic in India, where privacy, premium audiences, and meaningful partnerships take centre stage."

In this role, Kapoor will spearhead the publisher and data partnerships strategy, expanding The Trade Desk’s inventory partnership across CTV, OTT, audio, news, and other key verticals.

He will play a critical role in accelerating growth of the premium, open internet ecosystem by leading initiatives around privacy-safe identity, supply chain transparency, data optimization, retail media, and measurement.

By forging high-impact, scalable partnerships that align with advertiser goals, Rahul will be instrumental in advancing the company’s leadership in the digital advertising space.
