Gaurav Barjatya joins NDTV as Marketing Head

Gaurav Barjatya, who previously held the position of Head of Brand Marketing & Communications at TimesPro, has joined NDTV as the Marketing Head. Barjatya brings with him a wealth of experience in marketing leadership, coupled with strategic growth and digital expertise. Prior to his role at TimesPro, he served as the Marketing Director for India at WWE, a global entertainment company renowned for its wrestling events. Before his tenure at WWE, Barjatya held the position of Vice President - Marketing at Star TV Network and served as a Senior Brand Manager at Parle Agro Pvt Ltd.

A distinguished alumnus of FORE School of Management, New Delhi, Barjatya is recognized for his strategic acumen and innovative approach to marketing. His appointment at NDTV underscores the channel's commitment to fostering dynamic leadership and leveraging strategic marketing initiatives to drive growth and engagement in the competitive media landscape.

NDTV is resetting and calibrating itself under the leadership of Sanjay Pugalia and this marketing leadership hiring is seen as part of strategy to bring in senior business leadership and professionals to the team at NDTV . Three plus months back NDTV Profit was launched and Gaurav maybe overseeing marketing at a group level.

Earlier Neha Sethi had joined the NDTV Group as AVP marketing from the India Today group where she used to work with Vivek Malhotra directly.

With NDTV group under Adani ownership hiring senior marketing leadership, NDTV is looking to enhance and rebuild its NDTV brand and audience and reach to the next level.
