Sajith Sivanandan, who was with Disney+ Hotstar as Chief Executive Officer, has been roped in as President of Jio Mobile Digital Services at Jio Platforms.
According to his LinkedIn profile, Sajith Sivanandan joined the company this month, i.e. in January 2025.
In his new role, he will build a suite of digital services at scale for Jio Mobile underpinned by AI.
Prior to this, Sajith Sivanandan was the CEO at Disney+ Hotstar for over 2 years where he was overseeing the overall strategy, growth, product development, and P&L of Disney+ Hotstar in India.
He was also leading a cross functional organisation, encompassing functions such as ad sales, growth, partnerships, analytics, product management, engineering, UX, marketing, content, and customer service, HR, legal, policy.
Previously, Sajith Sivanandan was with Google for 15 years. He last held the role of Managing Director and Business Head, Google Pay and Next Billion User Initiatives, Asia Pacific at the company.
