Senior marketing professional Ajay Rao has announced on LinkedIn that he has joined Outlook Publishing as its VP (South) and National Head - Growth Vertical.

In his new role, Rao will work closely with the CEO of the media house to bolster the business interests of the Group in the south through strategic initiatives across media genres. He will also lead the growth vertical nationally along with the Editor of Outlook Business.

Rao was previously with HT Media as its Associate Vice President & Head (brand promotions) in the south. There he headed media marketing for HT Media suite across print and digital solutions. He was also responsible for leading the Group liaison with various governmental entities.

He has also worked for Reliance Broadcast Network and Times of India in the past.
