Vaibhav Maloo stepped into a leadership role at Enso Group at a remarkably early stage, and by 2009 he was already its Managing Director. 15 years later, as he celebrates his birthday on August 26, he stands as the strategist who has guided the group from its formative years into a diversified enterprise with energy, marketing, and philanthropy at its core.
Since Enso Group’s inception in 2005, Maloo has been an active member, beginning with business development and strategy before moving on to operations in the energy vertical and later leading the marketing efforts in India. Over time, he expanded his role to become not just a corporate leader but also the President of Enso Foundation, reflecting his commitment to a wider set of responsibilities beyond business.
His academic path is marked by global exposure. Maloo earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Tepper School of Business, Carnegie Mellon University (2009). He went on to complete a Postgraduate Diploma in Global Business from the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford (2013). That same year, he began an Executive MBA at Judge Business School, University of Cambridge, but chose to return to India to fully dedicate himself to Enso Group’s growth.
