Goafest venue moved to Mumbai due to Lok Sabha polls?

The 2024 edition of the annual advertising festival Goafest has been moved from Goa to Mumbai due to the upcoming Lok Sabha polls, according to a news report.
The three-day event has also been reportedly cut short to a two-day fest and is likely to take place on May 30 and 31st.

There has been no official statement on this matter since January this year. It was originally announced that the 17th edition of the fest will go on till 31st May and will be held at the Grand Hyatt, Bambolim, Goa.

"Drawing over 2000 industry professionals annually, Goafest has established itself as the definitive festival for the advertising and marketing industry. Anticipating increased participation from advertisers, Goafest 2024 is committed to offering an unparalleled platform for learning, recognition, and celebration," read the fest's official release in January. 

Co-hosted by The Advertising Agencies Association of India (AAAI) and The Advertising Club, Goafest is a three-day extravaganza, showcasing the best of creativity, knowledge, and networking in the advertising, marketing, and media industry.
