Julia Beizer, currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at Bloomberg Media, is set to exit the company after nearly eight years, according to a report by Adweek. Beizer is expected to take on a new role at Microsoft, where she will reportedly lead the company’s AI-driven news product under the leadership of Mustafa Suleyman, CEO of Microsoft AI.While specific details of the position have not yet been made public, Beizer confirmed to the publication that she is indeed departing Bloomberg Media to pursue her next chapter.

Beizer joined Bloomberg Media in 2020 as Chief Product Officer and Global Head of Digital, playing a key role in shaping the organisation’s digital strategy. Just over a year later, she was promoted to Chief Digital Officer, a role she held for close to three years before being elevated to the position of Chief Operating Officer. She has served as COO for the past 18 months, overseeing business operations during a period of rapid digital transformation across the company.
