Ashok Cherian to join TikTok India as Head of Marketing

Prior to this, Cherian was heading the Marketing & Revenue department at Applause Entertainment TikTok India has reportedly appointed Applause Entertainment’s Ashok Cherian to head its marketing department. He was the head of Marketing and Revenue at the Aditya Birla company since April 2018.

With a career spanning over 20 years, Cherian has held various roles in Entertainment-Retail, Consulting, Television, Internet and Print. His expertise is primarily in roles involving Marketing, Content and Digital.

 Prior to Applause, Cherian was the CMO at Smaaash Entertainment.
