Chanchlani reportedly drafted a plea through his lawyer Advocate Shubham Kulshrestha and filed by Advocate Manju Jaitley, asking for his FIR to be quashed or transferred to Mumbai from Guwahati where it was filed. The Guwahati High Court on Tuesday granted interim bail to Chanchlani during his anticipatory bail petition hearing.

He has been directed to be present before the investigating office within 10 days.
