Veteran Journalist Pratima Sharma to Take Helm at LiveHindustan.com

Senior journalist Pratima Sharma is set to join the Hindustan Times Group as the new Editor of LiveHindustan.com, one of the group’s key Hindi digital news platforms.

Sharma, who has spent many years with the Network18 Group, currently serves as the Editor of Moneycontrol — Hindi and brings with her over 17 years of experience in digital and print journalism.

At LiveHindustan.com, she will be responsible for shaping editorial direction, strengthening digital news offerings and leading content strategy for one of India’s widely read Hindi news sites.

The editor position at LiveHindustan.com became available after Prabhash Jha, who previously handled the role along with other language sites, resigned around three months ago to join the Times Group. Hindustan Times’ Chief Content Officer (Digital), Binoy Prabhakar, is reported to have approved Sharma’s appointment. 

Sharma’s career includes editorial roles at reputed media organisations such as Amar Ujala and The Economic Times (Hindi), where she specialised in content planning, editing and team leadership.
