Hot on the heels of Omnicom’s global leadership announcement, IMPACT has learnt from reliable sources that Prasoon Joshi will take charge of Omnicom Advertising India. A towering creative force, Joshi is celebrated as one of the most influential voices across advertising and cinema in India. Beginning his journey at Ogilvy Delhi in 1992 before moving to McCann, he rose to become CEO & CCO of McCann Worldgroup India and Chairman, McCann Asia Pacific, delivering iconic campaigns such as Coca-Cola’s “Thanda Matlab Coca-Cola” and impactful public health initiatives.

Globally, Omnicom will retain only three creative brands  BBDO, McCann, and TBWA. In India, FCB will be merged into McCann, while MullenLowe Lintas is expected to align with TBWA. At the global helm, Troy Ruhanen has been appointed CEO of Omnicom Advertising, overseeing BBDO, McCann, TBWA, and the U.S. Advertising Collective.
