Well, this is awkward. After 15 incredible years in McCann, my Perfetti Van Melle farewell party was so spectacular, I nearly rescinded my resignation!

Last Friday PVM didn’t just host a goodbye — they staged a “Quiet Celebration for a Loud Legacy” — a masterclass in partnership. The PVM marketing team and our agency talent transformed the evening into a glittering retrospective. They showcased iconic, award-winning work across many brands McCann partnered, campaigns that etched themselves into culture.

Then came the avalanche of emotions... A masterpiece stitching 15 years of brainstorms, triumphs, and "what-if" leaps. To every colleague who spoke with warmth — you redefined gratitude. Your words were confetti. That audio visual wasn’t a recap — it was a love letter to trust.

The pièce de résistance? My name immortalized on packs: “JUZT LALL,” “HAPPY LALL White,” “ALPENLALL GOLD.” (I’ve peaked as a limited-edition collectible — move over caramel!)

To Nikhil: Your visionary leadership and quiet brilliance redefine partnerships. Your humility, strategic brilliance, and unwavering trust always turned every brief into a shared mission. Thank you for support and friendship!

To Gunjan and the marketing team: You are Marketing Mavericks and glorious firecrackers! Your fearless passion turns briefs into adventures. Working with you was like mainlining creativity.

To Prasoon Joshi — the north star behind Perfetti’s soul. Your mantra — “ideas must taste like magic” — ignited culture-shaping work.

To the entire PVM family: You’re client partnership unicorns. You treated us as an extension of your heartbeat. Your trust, respect, and pursuit of excellence made every late night worth it. You proved that when creativity meets trust, magic’s inevitable.

As I turn this page, I carry friendships, life lessons, and the highest benchmark of collaboration. (Also, Nikhil, Gunjan… I’ll miss our creative collisions, but I’ll really miss the annual goodies. Keep ’em coming?)

As I step towards new frontiers, I carry this truth: Partnerships never truly end — I’ll always be ready to brainstorm, contribute, or taste test.
