Havells India Names Manjit Singh Sethi as President – Cables

Havells India has appointed Manjit Singh Sethi as President – Cables, strengthening leadership at a time when the segment remains a major contributor to the company’s performance.
Sethi brings more than three decades of experience in the electrical and power infrastructure space. Before joining Havells, he held senior leadership positions at ABB India (now Hitachi Energy) and KEC International, where he led large-scale transformer and cable businesses. His career has been marked by driving profitable growth and supporting renewable EPC expansion initiatives.
The appointment comes as Havells’ cables business continues to post steady gains. In Q2 FY26, the segment reported 12% year-on-year revenue growth, with turnover rising to ?2,028 crore, compared to ?1,805 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
By bringing in a seasoned industry leader, Havells signals its intent to further strengthen execution and scale in the cables segment, which remains central to the company’s long-term growth strategy.
