Google India elevates Siddharth Shekhar to lead local commerce solutions

Siddharth Shekhar has announced on LinkedIn that he has assumed the role of Director, LCS at Google India, expanding his responsibilities to oversee critical sectors such as Government & Public Sector, Banking & Financial Services (BFSI), Education, and Automotive.

Sharing his career update, Shekhar wrote:
"I'm happy to announce that I'm starting a new position as Director, LCS, Google India! I will be expanding my role and have the privilege of managing sectors that are truly the backbone of the Indian economy - Government & Public Sector, BFSI, Education and Auto."

He added:
"What excites me most about this opportunity is the timing. Prior to this role, Shekhar served as Industry Head - Technology, Media & Entertainment, and Telecom at Google India. His earlier experience includes stints at Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail Ltd for around four years and Disney Star for over three years, among other organisations.
