Cosmo First Appoints Saurabh Jain as CEO of Pet Care Division Zigly

Cosmo First Ltd has announced the appointment of Saurabh Jain as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of its pet care division, Zigly, and Head of Corporate Development, marking a strategic leadership addition to the company’s diversified business portfolio. 

In his new role, Jain will drive the growth agenda for Zigly, focusing on expanding the brand’s presence and shaping its next phase of business development. He will also lead company-wide corporate development initiatives, including strategy planning and evaluating potential mergers or acquisitions as part of Cosmo First’s long-term growth ambitions. Jain will work closely with Group CEO Pankaj Poddar and Group CFO Neeraj Jain to align corporate strategy across verticals. 

Commenting on the appointment, Pankaj Poddar said that Saurabh’s leadership experience and proven track record in managing complex business assignments will add meaningful value to Cosmo First over the long term.

Jain brings over 16 years of diverse experience spanning the packaging films industry, investment banking, and corporate strategy. His previous roles include serving as Global CEO (Overseas Business) at Jindal Films and leadership positions with organisations such as SB Packaging, Wodehouse Capital, Religare Capital Markets, and Jaypee Capital. 

Expressing enthusiasm for his new role, Saurabh Jain said he looks forward to leveraging his experience to contribute to Cosmo First’s strategic goals and unlocking new avenues for growth. 

Zigly, the tech-enabled omnichannel pet care brand under Cosmo First, has been expanding rapidly in India with a growing network of experience centres and services encompassing vet care, grooming, products and digital engagement — reflecting the broader momentum in the country’s pet care industry.
