Zepto Appoints Navdeep Sachdeva as SVP & Head of Procurement

Quick commerce platform Zepto has appointed Navdeep Sachdeva as Senior Vice President & Head of Procurement, strengthening its leadership bench as the company scales its operations. Sachdeva announced his new role via a LinkedIn post, expressing enthusiasm about joining the fast-growing startup.

In his new role, Sachdeva will lead procurement as a strategic growth driver for Zepto, overseeing high-impact negotiations and partnerships across supply chain, logistics, technology procurement, and marketing. His mandate includes building scalable, value-driven procurement frameworks aligned with Zepto’s rapid expansion plans.

Sharing his thoughts on the move, Sachdeva wrote that his early conversations with Zepto founders Aadit Palicha and Ramesh Bafna highlighted the company’s “conviction and long-term vision” for quick commerce. He added that Zepto stood out as an organisation “building with purpose, scale, and ambition,” offering complex and meaningful problem statements.

“I truly believe in this sector and in what Zepto is creating,” he noted, adding that he looks forward to collaborating with the team and contributing to the company’s growth journey.Prior to joining Zepto, Sachdeva served as Group Head – Strategic Sourcing at PhonePe. His professional journey also includes leadership roles at Flipkart and Bharti Airtel, bringing with him deep experience in large-scale procurement and sourcing strategy.
