Sumit Awasthi’s ‘ChakraView’ Premieres on Times Now Navbharat

Times Now Navbharat, the Hindi news channel from Times Network, has launched a new prime-time programme titled “ChakraView – with Sumit Awasthi.” The show, anchored by veteran TV journalist Sumit Awasthi, began airing Monday through Friday at 6:57 pm.

Designed to go beyond routine headlines, ChakraView will spotlight news stories relevant to youth and ordinary citizens, along with discussions that emerge on digital platforms — all after rigorous fact-checking by the editorial team. Viewers will also be invited to suggest topics they feel deserve deeper reporting and debate.

Ashish Sehgal, CEO and Chief Growth Officer of Times Television Network, said the programme aims to connect current affairs with depth, credibility and perspective, reinforcing the channel’s commitment to balanced and informative journalism.

Sumit Awasthi, who joined Times Now Navbharat as Senior Consulting Editor after a long career at leading networks, brings extensive experience in political and public-affairs reporting to the new show. Awasthi’s move reflects the network’s strategy to strengthen its prime-time line-up and engage audiences with substantive news content.
