Bharti Airtel Appoints Rabi Shankar Mishra as CEO – Maharashtra & Goa

Bharti Airtel has appointed Rabi Shankar Mishra as Chief Executive Officer for the Maharashtra and Goa circle. Mishra announced the development through a LinkedIn post, confirming his transition into the new role.

“I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Chief Executive Officer at Airtel,” Mishra wrote, marking his latest leadership assignment within the telecom major.

Prior to this appointment, Mishra served as CEO for Airtel’s Assam circle. He joined Bharti Airtel in October 2024 and has since been part of the company’s senior leadership team, overseeing regional operations and growth initiatives.

Before entering the telecom sector, Mishra built a strong career in the FMCG space. He was associated with The Hershey Company as Sales Director – India, and has also held leadership roles at Diageo, Mondelez, and PepsiCo, bringing extensive experience in sales strategy, market expansion, and consumer-centric growth.

His appointment underscores Airtel’s focus on strengthening regional leadership with executives who bring cross-industry expertise and a proven track record in driving scale and performance.
