Boat teamed up with popular Designer Masaba known for her quirky prints at Lakmé Fashion Week 2020 and unveiled a line of colorful headphones designs targetting millennial consumers. The combination of boAt × Masaba for the vibrant designs for the headphones will bring not only great music to the enthusiasts but some many happy memories of days gone by.
Bringing the nostalgia of the Disco Divana era of the ’70s to the millennial 2020s, the vintage patterns will take the consumer on a retro trip. Giving a creative touch to the Aztec pattern, Masaba gave the tribal print a rustic shade card that will revive old memories. Dreaming up an element of Jamaican rhythm, Masaba added stars to the vividly colored palette for additional excitement.
Commenting on the collaboration, Aman Gupta, Co-Founder, boAt Lifestyle said, “Lakmé Fashion Week is the Mecca of fashion in India and as a lifestyle brand it became an ideal platform for us to partner and showcase our authority when it comes to stylish consumer electronic products. This season was extra special to us as we are commencing our partnership with Masaba. Her designs are defined to be a blend of contemporary and traditional with a pinch of modernity. As one of the leading fashion designers in the industry, she connects well with our audience. She understands boAt’s design philosophy and the same is displayed in the limited edition ‘boAt X Masaba’ collection of headphones. We believe our boAthead community will be truly inspired by the new and refreshing designs.”
Commenting on the collaboration, Designer Masaba Gupta said, “We are super excited about collaborating with boAt. I have always thought their products are par excellence. I have been introduced to boAt through so many users, who are serious users of its products. I am very excited to be collaborating with a brand that is always willing to push the bar & do something young, fun & new. And I think lending House of Masaba’s aesthetics to boAt’s s headphones, which are again superior products will invite a new consumer and excite the existing ones with cool, fresh & quirky products. Lakme Fashion Week & I have a long-standing association, it is where I made my debut & I think that it is a platform that has consistently brought some amazing talent to the forefront & showing at Fashion Week after so long will be really exciting & great fun!”
Designer Masaba Gupta will be back at Lakmé Fashion Week next year with boAt to showcase her very own fashion collection that will be inspired by this collaboration.
