Nykaa launches one-of-its-kind ‘WATCH & BUY’ Live streaming

Nykaa, India’s leading beauty retailer has set another milestone with the launch of ‘WATCH & BUY’ Live streaming with renowned makeup, skin and wellness experts. Since the launch last year, 24 Lives featuring top beauty industry names such as Namrata Soni, Elton Fernandez and Dr.Jaishree Sharad have been streamed simultaneously across Facebook, YouTube and the Nykaa app.

The key features of this new implement include live streaming of the FB Live on the app for Android and iOS users with a ‘Watch & Buy’ feature that facilitates quick add-to-cart or add to wish list in real time while watching the Live. The App prompts the users to checkout once the Live streaming is over, and the feature is designed to allow users to browse through archived videos (previous FB lives). The functionality is built on App Native functions with rich interactive features.

In the enclosed example, Namrata Soni’s‘Day To Night Festive Look Masterclass’, Nykaa’s Beauty Bookcollaborated with the brand Faces Canada to create a classic festive look that could be tweaked into a contemporary look with just a few clever changes. MUA Namrata Soni demonstrated the look using Faces Canada products that viewers could add to bag while watching the Live on the App.
