Flipkart Launches Cara Mia, a private label for women’s accessories

Flipkart Fashion, India’s largest online fashion store, announces the launch of its in house label for handbags and footwear, Cara Mia, an Italian phrase for My beloved.  The brand personifies the woman that celebrates her individual sense of style  and loves to pamper herself to add to her vivacity. Meant for women in the age group of 18- 25 years, Cara Mia,  features a wide range of over 75 unique styles of handbags and over 100 unique styles of footwear. Both these categories would be rapidly ramped up to offer twice the current selection on the platform.

Women’s handbags and footwear are of the largest and fastest growing segments in the eCommerce fashion space in India. However, Flipkart fashion recognises a gap in the market between high-end luxury products and affordable products that offer style and quality at the same time.  The launch of Cara Mia, is a step to address this need in the market.

Cara Mia features selections under two ranges- Urban street style fashion and Vintage Affair. Inspired by Urban street style, the range features comfortable styles with modern cuts for daily wear, embellished sneakers, totes and leather backpacks that leave a lasting impression. Inspired by pastel hues, dainty details, for a flirty yet fun look, the selection of handbags, heels, mules & ballerinas, the vintage affair range offers a fusion of classic trends mixed together creating a truly fashionable affair. The brand would feature a selection of watches in the next few months, to complete the look with oomph for the fashionista !

After launching Divastri- a private label for women ethnic wear, Metronaut- a private label for the urban man and Anmi- a private label offering fusion ethnic wear for woman, Miss & Chief- a private label for kids, Cara Mia is the fifth private label from Flipkart Fashion.
