Ola’s Mother’s Day campaign seeks to break stereotypes of mothers being uncomfortable
Known for its unconventional and quirky digital campaigns on
topical matters, Ola, India’s leading and one of the world’s largest ride-sharing companies, is
back with another witty yet, thought-provoking campaign, #MomsOnTheMove.
Ola, through some quirky videos, takes a dig at children who assume that moms are not tech
savvy. #MomsOnTheMove demonstrates how moms today, can, in fact, easily use apps
such as Ola, and are comfortable using gadgets and devices, contrary to the myth we may
be led to believe.
Vishal Kaul, COO at Ola said, “The objective of our campaign, #MomsOnTheMove is to
celebrate the spirit of mothers, who are adapting to changing times and carving an
independent path in society. Mothers today are determined, self-reliant and enterprising, as
they step out of their homes to fulfill their dreams and ambitions. As the country’s leading
ride sharing platform, we have the unique opportunity to reach millions of people with this
campaign. The essence of the campaign, will certainly resonate with our audience and
facilitate a positive change in perception and thought process of the society at large.”
#MomsOnTheMove marks a new age of evolution in branded campaigns where social
impact is seen as a central component of business results as opposed to an afterthought.
Ola’s #MomsOnTheMove videos have created quite a stir on various social media platforms
and have attracted many social conversations on the thought presented by Ola.
