Pitch CMO Summit from the exchange4media group returns this March with a fresh congregation of marketers, who will get together to tell their brands’ stories . On March 24, Hemant Bakshi, Executive Director, Hindustan Unilever will let us know what goes behind making that one ‘perfect product’ as he delivers the keynote address in Mumbai. A line-up of acclaimed marketers will join him to talk about the art of brand activation, building brand loyalty , out of the box thinking, how to read the minds of consumers and engage them.

The annual marketing extravaganza organised by Pitch, the marketing magazine of the exchange4media group, the Pitch CMO Summit showcases the best initiatives by brands and marketers, in India and globally. It is a gathering of the best minds in the business of marketing. The agenda of the summit revolves around marketing in the present context. It’s a platform for engagement and ideation for the marketing industry and is a much awaited event by the corporate world.

The Speakers and panelists for the event have been global CMOs as well as Marketing Heads of Indian brands. In 2011, the keynote Speaker was Chander Mohan Sethi, CMD, Reckitt Benckiser and the theme of the summit was “Indian Marketing: Breaking New Grounds”. The theme for the Summit in 2012 was “Communication to Commerce”. The summit was held in two cities and some of the key speakers were Bijou Kurien, President and CEO Lifestyle, Reliance Retail, Nitin Seth, Executive Director, Ashok Leyland, Manisha Lath Gupta, CMO, Axis Bank, Len Curran, VP Sales and Marketing, Renault India.

The theme for the summit in 2013 was “Entertainment: All the world’s a Stage in Marketing”. Anil Dua, Senior VP, Sales and Marketing, Hero Motocorp was the keynote speaker and spoke about “Blurring the lines between entertainment and persuasion”. Some of the other Speakers were Ranjivjit Singh, Head Marketing, PPS, HP India, Shefalika Saxena, then CMO, Microsoft India, Nalin Kapoor, Group Head Marketing, Hyundai Motor India.
