Sanjeeb Chaudhuri will take up the responsibility for the newly created role of Group Head of Brand and Chief Marketing Officer at Standard Chartered. In his new role, Sanjeeb will oversee all brand and marketing teams across the Group, and take overall responsibility for developing a singular, cohesive brand strategy. This will underline Standard Charteredâ€™s recently announced re-organization, in which the Wholesale and Consumer Banking businesses will integrate.
Sanjeeb has been with Standard Charted since June 2011, and currently serves as the Bankâ€™s Regional Head for South Asia and Chief Marketing Officer for the Consumer Bank. He has been the integral driving force in the Bankâ€™s digital and mobile marketing offering, launching and executing innovative approaches to reach customers and prospects.
Sanjeebâ€™s impressive career includes his successful stint with Citicorp; Sanjeeb was CEO, Retail and Commercial Banking for Europe, Middle East and Africa, while also holding the role of Head, Retail Banking and Chief Marketing Officer for Europe, Middle East and Africa. He was also a member of the Citi CEO Leadership Forum, the Citi Global Digital Council and the Citi Global Advertising Council.
Prior to Citi Group , Sanjeeb has held senior marketing and general management positions at Procter & Gamble, Colgate-Palmolive and Unilever, across the healthcare, personal and household products, foods and beverage categories.
