The iconic scooter brand Vespa which was a favourite of the Beatles has been vindicated by CNN’s survey of the most significant examples of industrial design. The Vespa rubs shoulders with 11 legendary brands such as the Apple Mac computer, the escalator, the Airbus 380 passenger plane among others.

This masterpiece has successfully maintained its positioning as a timeless and ageless lifestyle classic that leverages its rich heritage and unique values to appeal to the finer emotions of the consumer.
Commenting on the occasion, Mr. Ravi Chopra, Chairman and Managing Director, Piaggio Vehicles Private Limited (India), says, “We are thrilled to announce Vespa’s nomination as one of the twelve best designs by CNN and these celebrated global designers; especially since the research reveals legendary names in the design space worldwide.
