Confectionery major Perfetti Van Melle India (PVMI) expanded its snacks portfolio under the Stop Not brand, with the addition of a new variant. With the launch, the snack brand will now be available in two different varieties, which are â€˜Golzâ€™ and â€˜Disksâ€™, both available in four flavours.
The six edged shape Stop Not Disks come in flavours like Chutney Mela, Mango Masala, Chatpata Lime and Too Tomato; and are available in Rs 5, Rs 10 and Rs 20 pack sizes. The new variant will be supported with a new advertising campaign slated to break soon.
Commenting on the launch, Ramesh Jayaraman, MD, Perfetti Van Melle India, said â€œThe Indian snacks market is extremely competitive and consumers are always looking for new optionsâ€. We always try and differentiate our offerings to delight the consumer. We are pleased with the performance of our snacks business so far and are hopeful that Stop not Disks will contribute to it significantly.
The Indian subsidiary of the Italian brand Perfetti Van Melle SpA was the first among the PVM group to venture into the snacks business in 2011.
