With 51 per cent more screen area the tablet caters to office purpose presentations, excel spreadsheets as well as cameras including DSLRs.
“While everyone focuses on entertainment, these tabs are made for professionals and will eliminate the use of mobile phones and laptops by these professionals,†says, Rajeev Karwal, Founder & CEO, Milagrow Knowledge & Business Solutions.
Earlier in January, Milagrow had launched a special series for Women, “The series is the smallest and lightest in its class as we wanted professional women to carry no bulk. The reason behind developing such a tab only for women was to reduce the number of equipments, phones, cameras and laptops this would give them all of that in a single console,†says Karwal.
“It has a user interface of a woman’s room and a software that tells the last known location and sends a SOS signal if the lady is in danger and she taps the tab at late night journeys.†He adds.
The Milagrow tabs compete with brands like Samsung and Apple in the higher bracket whereas the introduction of cheaper and more varied tabs such as Micromax, Intex and Akash increase the number of choices that a consumer has in the market.
The tablets are not available everywhere, but only in e-stores like Croma and Reliance Digital. According to Karwal, the marketing of these tabs is being done keeping the e-commerce industry in mind and Milagrow is the No 3 brand on Flipkart.com and the company is very selective in the process of distribution.
The TabTops are typically designed for rough use of Indian users, prevents oil marks and gives services like Live TV, Live Radio, Movie & Music Studio, eBook readers and a first in the Indian market, offline E-mail client for working on E-mails without Internet access.
